El Patio Suizo was established back in 2003 by Armin Baumeler, when he decided to leave his hometown Lucerne in Switzerland and to head overseas for a new adventure.

El Patio Suizo is a piece of Central Switzerland in Santiago mixed with some Chilean flavour. Entering our house you can smell a swiss "Zopf" being baked (swiss style of bread), a Cheese-Fondue or a typical Chilean asado.

We are proud on our Swiss hospitality. For us it’s important our guests feel comfortable and like at home in a clean and friendly place as it was in Switzerland.
